Short-Term Bonds & T-Bills

Short-term bond ETFs hold bonds that mature sooner than those in broad bond funds. Some focus on government T-bills, while others hold short-dated government or corporate bonds. They generally move less when interest rates change than longer-term bond funds, but their prices and yields can still change. This category is separate from HISA ETFs, which mainly hold bank deposits.
